OMD Rather Awesome Challenge – 3. Black & White

Today was an especially crappy day, I’ve not got a lot of chat for you… So I threw in an extra couple of photos 🙂

Pretty & Polished – Perfection in White

 

 

 

Why are great white nail polishes so hard to find ? Maybe it’s something to do with the pigments, but even the ones that start off great always seem to end up streaky to me. Yet, I love white nail polish in  the summer ! So I grabbed Perfection in White from Pretty & Polished on Etsy, to give it a whirl !

This polish won’t be the saviour of your french manis, I’m afraid. It’s not totally opaque. But it does have a beautiful shimmer to it, and the formula is great, not watery, not thick, no cuticle flooding. The brush is lovely and smooth. One coat was a bit streaky (but what polish isn’t streaky at one coat!), but two coats was perfectly level and very pretty !

Three coats is really nice too, a bit more crisp, though still not totally opaque. It almost makes my fingers look tanned already !
