Does anyone like Mondays? I mean, even if you don’t work, they’re kinda a drag, right?
Hi ladies! Happy Saturday 🙂
Apologies for the lack of post yesterday. I think most of you know, I work in the centre of Paris full-time. I only live about 40km (25 miles) away, but French trains are quite unreliable. And last night, it was a real nightmare getting home. So that got me in a funk and I decided I deserved a night off.
I’m still feeling a bit antsy, so I couldn’t decide how to do my nails this morning. I decided the best thing to do is a skittlette to get it out of my system.
Why do I always feel grouchy on a Monday? I blame that orange cat, haha (anyone know what I’m talking about?). I guess it’s not helped by the fact that I have a big work trip on Thursday and Friday, so this week is gonna be hard to get through. I just hope it goes quickly!
Anywhooo, I have a swatch for you today. I love red nails. Some people don’t like it so much on long nails like mine, but I love it even more when it’s vampy 🙂
Zoya Livingstone is the perfect, classic red. It’s super pigmented and goes on very smoothly, as I’ve come to expect from Zoya.
So today I have a new polish to show you 🙂 thank you so much for all of your lovely comments about my macros yesterday ❤
I’m still getting a hang of my new swatching light, but the colour here is pretty accurate. Sailor is a dark, inky blurple, it’s absolutely to die for!
Yay, it’s Friday !
Ok, so for once I’m not super pleased that the week is already over, since I’m back at work on Monday, boo! But I am happy that today’s theme is violet. I love purple nails!
After a huge amount of umm-ing and ahh-ing, I decided on Zoya Mimi. This is a polish that I haven’t featured before, and it’s stunning! It’s a purple glass-fleck microglitter polish that felt just perfect for rebelling against this morning’s thunder storm 🙂
So I’ll be posting twice on a lot of days to keep up with this challenge 🙂 I hope no-one minds!
I would have loved to do my fox nails again, but I figured it would be a cop-out to recreate a nail art that I’ve already done before! So for the 31-Day Challenge, I decided to try a dry marble.
