OMD Rather Awesome Challenge – 11. Stripes

Sorry for spamming you guys, now I’bve caught up, yay !

Another simple one for the stripes. I wanted to get the stripes lined up, but my wonky fingers (especially the little one!) wouldn’t play ball… Well, you get the idea I think…

OMD Rather Awesome Challenge – 10. Metallic

So one of the reasons I’ve gotten so behind is that I did two metallic manis. First up was a butterfly mani over Butter London’s Thames. But then I forgot and did this one ! It was lucky though, because all of the butterfly mani photos came out awful.

OMD Rather Awesome Challenge – 9. Textured

I’m a couple of days behind, haha, oops !

So keeping it simple to catch up – the prompts towards the end of the month are so much complicated anyway, I know I’ll get to stretch my creative muscles a bit…

When it comes to textured polish, I love mine black and leathery best – so here I have used Nails Inc Leather effect and Barry M Croc effects – with a little stud, since the only thing cooler than (fake) leather is studs 😀

OMD Rather Awesome Challenge – 8. Matte

I know, I know, I’m a day behind. I’ve been battling with Clingy Kitty (formerly Naughty Kitty) to get things done…. Anyways, I’ve gone purple again today !

Since I got the new brushes from piCture pOlish, I’ve been re-trying them all, and I’m so much happier – the brush is a real deal-breaker for me, that’s why I’m so fussy about the ones I use for my polishes 🙂

OMD Rather Awesome Challenge – 5. Skittles

I’m really enjoying seeing all of your amazing entries for this challenge !

Today, I chose a similar colour scheme to Polish Alcoholic – not deliberate, since I prepared this mani last weekend ! But I guess that means that it’s true that great minds think alike 😉

I used – from left to right – Kerfuffle, Fruit Machine, Molly Coddled – from the Butter London Sweetie Shop collection from this spring, plus Sprog for the periwinkle blue on my index (some people say pointer) finger  and Fiver on my thumb – then a bit of stamping in white. I kicked myself when I realised I hadn’t cleaned my plate properly last time, but actually, it adds an interesting 3D effect, I guess (trying to look on the bright side here, don’t start!).

I just love this very summery mani ! What do you think?
