#NAILLinkup – Diamonds – China Glaze Fade into Hue and Shimmer Polish Jennifer

Hi honies!

It’s the weekend, yay! Never comes too soon, huh?

This weekend, I have a big exciting project for the blog. I’ve been mulling it over for months, and have decided to take the plunge. Basically, I’m going to transfer over to WordPress.org. That means I’ll keep the same domain name and everything, but the blog will become self-hosted, so I can mess about with themes and stuff more 😉

Either it will go very smoothly, with a bit of luck and help from my bloke, who is a computer programmer. But if it doesn’t, and things go a bit squiffy over the next few days, don’t panic! You can always check out my Twitter feed or Instagram to check where I’m at…

Today’s nail art is an upgrade on the mani I’ve been wearing for the past few days. I love China Glaze Fade into Hue! It’s pastelly enough for spring, yet super saturated, and very shiny! So I did a quick touch up, and added the nail art over the top. While I decided what to do to get the diamonds into the theme, I did a quick glitter gradient with Shimmer Polish Jennifer on my little (pinky) finger.

Butter London – Bramble x Blowing Raspberries

Hey darlings!

I hope everyone had (or is still having!) a nice long weekend! Are there any readers in places that don’t have bank holidays for Easter?

I decided to take an unplanned break from blogging over the weekend. It did me a lot of good! I decided that it would be better to blog less, but better, rather than to push myself to post 5 times a week. My schedule will be slowing down a bit in a few weeks, so I’ll pick things up again then. For the next couple of weeks, you’ll still hear from me 4 times a week, I think 😉

I didn’t even go to the gym until this morning! I’ve been really committed to going 3 times a week since the end of December, but I took 6 days off, and this morning’s workout was much more satisfying – and sweatier! So overall I think the break was worth it 🙂

Hey honies!

It’s Thursday evening here, so just one day to go before the weekend, and that feels prettttttty good ! Monday is a day off work in France, and you can bet I’m looking forward to it! Work is super busy right now, and after next week, should start to calm down a bit. It’s great to see the light at the end of the tunnel 🙂

Butter London Queen Vic & Barry M Nail Art Pen

Hey honey bunnies!

Just a quickie today! I wore the gorgeous Queen Vic to work yesterday, because it’s juuuust a little bit different, but still very highly pigmented! It’s the only Butter London that I’ve ever had bubbling problems with, but I love my berry shades so much that I can cope with that 😉Butter London Queen Vic - Copy Continue reading

#NailLinkup – Easter themed pastel & black nails for the Nail Art Ideas Linkup

I hope everyone had a nice weekend! I have a huge case of the Sunday Night Blues, personally. It’s hard when you work long hours during the week. I have been so tired this weekend, that I don’t feel like I really made the most of it… And it’s already over 😦 #Naillinkup Easter Nail Art - Illamasqua - Copy

Anyway, we’re now only a week away from Easter! Which was very fun when I was living back home in a big family, I remember carting home dozens of chocolate eggs for the kids! But now I’m older and living far away from home, it’s not so much fun. Until nail art gets involved! So, this mani was inspired by the Illamasqua Speckled Egg polishes, which I bought last year and wrote about here. They’re still my only Illamasqua polishes, since they are very hard to get hold of here in France.

#Naillinkup Easter Nail Art - Ciaté Candy Floss - Copy

I wanted to do an Easter bunny, but without being too ‘cute’, so a black silhouette seemed perfect! I did it over two Ciaté polishes – Candy Floss and Ferris Wheel – with a Barry M Nail Art Pen.#Naillinkup Easter Nail Art - Ciaté Ferris Wheel - Copy

And, although I loved wearing this mani glossy, it was even better once mattified… Well, I think so, anyway!

If you do Easter nail art this year, we would love it if you added your mani to our linkup! You don’t have to be a blogger – there is an option to upload a photo from your computer, too!
