OMD Rather Awesome Challenge – 10. Metallic

So one of the reasons I’ve gotten so behind is that I did two metallic manis. First up was a butterfly mani over Butter London’s Thames. But then I forgot and did this one ! It was lucky though, because all of the butterfly mani photos came out awful.

This is a super simple mani, China Glaze’s Magical is the base, then I used a smoky grey foil for the triangles. I didn’t top coat it – to avoid the foil cracking – and so it wouldn’t have lasted very long. And my camera had a little fit at the shininess !

Here’s the Inlinkz for today, do click on it to see everyone’s entry 🙂

I love this look! What a great match between the base and feature. You’re inspiring me to practice with my nail foils 🙂 so far I’ve only tried the press and rip method to randomly place bits of foil.
