I hope everyone had a nice weekend! I have a huge case of the Sunday Night Blues, personally. It’s hard when you work long hours during the week. I have been so tired this weekend, that I don’t feel like I really made the most of it… And it’s already over 😦
Anyway, we’re now only a week away from Easter! Which was very fun when I was living back home in a big family, I remember carting home dozens of chocolate eggs for the kids! But now I’m older and living far away from home, it’s not so much fun. Until nail art gets involved! So, this mani was inspired by the Illamasqua Speckled Egg polishes, which I bought last year and wrote about here. They’re still my only Illamasqua polishes, since they are very hard to get hold of here in France.
I wanted to do an Easter bunny, but without being too ‘cute’, so a black silhouette seemed perfect! I did it over two Ciaté polishes – Candy Floss and Ferris Wheel – with a Barry M Nail Art Pen.
And, although I loved wearing this mani glossy, it was even better once mattified… Well, I think so, anyway!
What do you think? Matte or shiny?
If you do Easter nail art this year, we would love it if you added your mani to our linkup! You don’t have to be a blogger – there is an option to upload a photo from your computer, too!
Perfect for Easter! These are so cute!
I love them both ways but I think the matte adds a little something too!
That is adorable!
Matte! I love these Brij.
My weekend has been a blur.. my dads in the hospital for knee surgery so Ive been there the whole time!
Oh honey, I’m sorry 😦 is he doing okay now? X
yup, he’s doing well 🙂 I gotta drive to the hospital to today to pick him up and bring him home.
yup! he’s doin great, thanks!
Love em’! Looks so pretty, perfect polishes of choice. 🙂
Matte AND I’m gaga over that bunny silhouette!
