#Naillinkup – Black and White border nails (Ezquerra inspired)

Arrgh, this week, I am the worst blogger in the world! Sorry my darlings. I’m spending a lot of time at work, and a lot of time working on getting my Spring range lined up for the Boutique (if all goes well, it will be live on Saturday!). So, if you want to grab some bargains in the sale section, now’s your chance!

The NAILLINKUP theme that I’ve done this evening is Borders. I don’t have anything against border manis, but I’ve never done one before. I guess they’re just one of those things that haven’t really grabbed me. That’s what’s so nice about doing a Nail Art Challenge though, getting out of your comfort zone and inspiration from elsewhere. My border mani is with a base of Barry M White

I’m not sure how many people would get the reference, but my border is inspired by Carlos Ezquerra. Ezquerra is a Spanish artist that is best known for his work on Judge Dredd and Strontium Dog in the 2000AD comic. He’s incredibly talented, and one of his trademarks is this jagged ‘houndstooth’ border. Some of his best known work is also… you guessed it! In black and white 🙂 so that’s that explained!
