Happy Monday ladies!
I hope your week is going well! Mine sure is, we’re both (my bloke and I) off work all week, so we had a lazy morning, then went out to wander around some shops this afternoon. I found a nice, recently opened, hair & manicure supply shop which had some nice stock, so I’ll be going back there again soon! Shame that, as a blogger, I don’t qualify for the pro discount.
I’m reasonably sure that this isn’t a ‘real’ ombré nail art, since it’s different colours instead of shades of one colour. But, I was feeling inspired by our autumnal walk in the forest yesterday, and wanted to keep it simple 🙂
So this is a progression from the green leaves at the end of summer, to the rich, ruddy maroon of high Autumn.
The colours I used are all China Glaze, from the thumb to the little (pinky) finger :
I wore them all at 3 coats, so I’m not sure why I still had so much Visible Smile Line, but I guess it’s not the end of the world. They’re all smooth cremes other than Solar Power, which is shimmery. But it’s the only yellow i have, so like it or lump it 😉
