Zoya Livingstone

Happy Monday!

Why do I always feel grouchy on a Monday? I blame that orange cat, haha (anyone know what I’m talking about?). I guess it’s not helped by the fact that I have a big work trip on Thursday and Friday, so this week is gonna be hard to get through. I just hope it goes quickly!

Anywhooo, I have a swatch for you today. I love red nails. Some people don’t like it so much on long nails like mine, but I love it even more when it’s vampy 🙂

Zoya Livingstone is the perfect, classic red. It’s super pigmented and goes on very smoothly, as I’ve come to expect from Zoya.

Zoya Livingstone-001 On the downside, even after a quick swatch, it was pretty difficult to remove – I still have red cuticles! And now that I make polish, I understand that the brightest reds are gellies. Its just something to do with the red pigments. But it’s still frustrating to get a red from a big company like Zoya and still have my tips showing very obviously… after 3 coats!

In other news, I’m on a listing spree! And of course, the Brijits Digits Boutique graphics have been updated to match the blog. And, most excitingly, I added a Direct Checkout option. Although you can use PayPal without an account, some people don’t like to. But now you have the new payment option – so if you fancy a new indie nail polish (or if you’re starting your Christmas shopping early), now is the time 😉 I’ve done a stock check this evening, so everything listed is already made and ready to go (hint, hint!) ❤

This is a gorgeous red, but I can understand your frustration with this still showing some nail line after three coats. Still very pretty!
