Yay, it’s Friday !
Ok, so for once I’m not super pleased that the week is already over, since I’m back at work on Monday, boo! But I am happy that today’s theme is violet. I love purple nails!
After a huge amount of umm-ing and ahh-ing, I decided on Zoya Mimi. This is a polish that I haven’t featured before, and it’s stunning! It’s a purple glass-fleck microglitter polish that felt just perfect for rebelling against this morning’s thunder storm 🙂
I used two coats for the French tip and added the doodley squiggles with my Barry M Nail Art Pen (which I love, I need a backup!).
It’s kinda awesome how this one sparkles in the light! I’m not looking forward to trying to get it off though…

Ohh no, thank you for the lovely compliments! But honestly, the only way I manage to do anything complicated like this is through practice and patience – with those 2 things anyone can do the same 🙂
I hope so! I too think that I need to practise, practise, practise and eventually I can do something similar. Well, not something like this, but easier things, like, let’s say, a kiwi fruit. Will let you know how my next ‘design’ goes.

I think it also really helps if you visualise exactly what you want to do, then work out all the steps before you start 🙂
