OMD Rather Awesome Challenge – 9. Textured

I’m a couple of days behind, haha, oops !

So keeping it simple to catch up – the prompts towards the end of the month are so much complicated anyway, I know I’ll get to stretch my creative muscles a bit…

When it comes to textured polish, I love mine black and leathery best – so here I have used Nails Inc Leather effect and Barry M Croc effects – with a little stud, since the only thing cooler than (fake) leather is studs 😀

Your accent nail looks amazing! Like leather 😀

  2. Katherine Buchanan says:

Wow. They really do come up with the leather and croc effects! Did you have to do anything to the polish, or do they just dry like that?

    • the leather is just a textured polish and just dries like that, the croc is like a crackle, but instead of putting it over dry polish, you put it over tacky polish. I can’t decide which I like best 🙂

Wow! I love both of these!! Looks amazing 🙂

That’s so cute! I think this mani just completely changed my mind about my dislike of textured polishes. I need to go get those polishes 😀

  5. […] Just for comparison, here’s what the Nails Inc. Leather Effect polishes look like. These photos are not mine– they’re from Nails Inc promos. Like I said, I don’t actually own any of their Leather Effect polishes, but check out some more close-up swatches of them over at Short & Sweet In Texas and Brijit’s Dijits! […]
