Today is gradient day ! I love a good gradient, so I had fun with this one ! Since spring is coming round, I went for corals – both Essie – Tart Deco is the paler of the two, Meet Me At Sunset is the deeper orangey coral. I also tried a cool new technique (okay, it went up 2 years ago, but it’s new to me !) that I discovered through Tartofraises – I used a fan brush to gradient, instead of a sponge – it’s so much neater ! Tartofraise’s video is here. She uses acrylic paint, but I used nail polish and that worked fine 🙂
As sad as I’ll be when this challenge is over, I think my ‘to swatch’ box could do with being looked after !

I love your gradient and the little white dots. Beautiful and super summery!
Thanks Alyssa !
These are cute. I really like those two Essie colors, especially the coral. Lovely.
Thanks Sam!
Pretty! Makes me want to pull out Tart Deco 😉
Thanks 🙂 Tart Deco is great for spring!
I am obsessed with corals and love this color combo. The dots add a element of whimsy and surprise, well-done Brijit, I am loving your nail ideas, am so looking forward to the Memory Splice tribal and se see my linear holo topcoat. It works great for gradients, BTW. On my naisl today- Ozotic Pro Mish Mash 524- one of the last bottles imported to the US before the 500 series were discontinued, the saddest day in nail history IMHO:) It was the inspiration for my own Pixie Polish multichrome linear holos.
Ooh, I hadn’t thought of a holo gradient! Good idea! I’ve got some great photos of your top coat 🙂
I like this a lot. 🙂 I’m always for polka dots!
Thanks 🙂
I’m determined to find myself a good coral polish this summer! These look beautiful on you.
Thanks lovely! They do look better with a tan, though…
They remind me of cute dinosaur eggs! ^^
Awwh, you’re right ! I didn’t think of that, but I can imagine them in a Pixar film now 🙂
